"S" Lift

An “S” lift is a form of a mini face lift that reduces the amount of recovery time and risk for the patient. The reason it is called an “S” face lift is because the incision is in the shape of an “S”. The incision starts at the temple in the hairline, goes in front of the ear, and then back behind the ear lobe.

Who is a good candidate?

• Anyone who is good physical condition and does not smoke.
• Anyone with minor facial imperfections in their 30’s-50's.
• Anyone who wants to correct minor problems around the jaw line and some slight looseness in skin under the chin in the neck.
• Anyone who does not have large amounts of sagging skin.

How It Is Done: During your consultation, Dr. Diana will be able to discuss with you the length and pattern that will be used for the incision(s).

Recovery: Patients return to work in a few days to a week. The incisions will diminish over time, and are well covered or hidden within your hair or natural contours of your face. Results are gradual with time, as it does take awhile for the bruising and swelling to go away.
