A brow lift is also known as a forehead lift. It minimizes the creases that develop on the forehead and also the creases that occur high on the bridge of the nose. It improves frown lines and repositions a low or sagging brow.

How It Is Done:

• During your consultation, Dr. Diana will be able to discuss with you the length and pattern that will be used for the incision.
• A brow lift is sometimes performed using an endoscope and other special instruments that are placed through small incisions, otherwise known as endoscopic incisions, made within the hairline.
• A sagging or low position brow correction may or may not involve the use of an endoscope through incisions at the temples and in the scalp. Sometimes this procedure is combined with incisions hidden in the natural crease of your upper eyelids to diminish frown lines between your brows and on or above the bridge of your nose.
• Most of the time, Dr. Diana performs a coronal brow lift, which involves making an incision from ear to ear in order to lift the forehead and remove the excess skin from the scalp. This technique allows the tissue and muscle beneath the skin to be altered or removed in order to diminish visible creases.

Recovery: Patients return to work in a few days to a week,. Recovery time is usually shorter with an endoscopic brow lift because the incision is smaller. The incisions will diminish over time, and are well covered or hidden within your hair or natural contours of your face. Results are gradual with time, as it does take awhile for the bruising and swelling to go away.
